Hello to everyone!
I just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know what is going on, and to give everyone the reasons for what is happening.
As most of you are aware, we recently had one of our main tanks decide to take a break from WoW for a bit. A few days later we had three more raiders decide to move on to bigger and better things in the game, and have departed the guild. Basically this leaves us with 3 people who have been regularly signing up and logging in for raids. We can not sustain a raid team at these levels. What this has caused is a vicious "catch-22" that we have not been able to shake since Cataclysm dropped. We have almost a complete raid team and are looking to fill those last two spots in order to make good progress; then people get impatient with recruiting or what not and decide not to log in untill we have a full raid team, which leaves more holes. Then we can't recruit because we can't even fill an 8/10 raid team which keeps people away from the guild. We then franticly pug just to be able to raid, however the actual guild makes no progress. This leads to unhappy raiders who leave for greener pastures, or stop logging in all together, and we are back at square one....... again. As I said, this is simply not sustainable for a guild that raids.
I have put a lot of thought into what I am going to say, and trust me, it is the last thing that I really wanted to do. However, given our current situation, there is no other recourse, but to revert the guild back to a completely social guild. The following will be the setup for the guild:
1. One of my many alts will become the Guild Leader.
2. Everyone will be in the same rank with the ability to invite people to the guild, however no one will be able to remove anyone from the guild.
3. Everyone will be able to create calendar events.
4. Everyone will have reasonable access to the entire guild bank.
5. Since we have received a sizable donation to the guild bank, bank repairs will be left on with a limit of 200g/day.
6. Mumble server will be available for use until the allotted paid time expires.
7. Ventrillo server is a founding members personal vent, however it will be available for use until further notice.
This is the most fair way that I can see for a social guild to function. In the future, I may turn over the guild to someone, but when the original members and I founded the guild, we decided that the guild would not be handed over to someone else or disbanded unless it was a majority decision between the three of us.
To those long standing members, I appreciate your time and efforts to make Blood of Tyrants a great place to play this game. We could not have done it without you.
To those who came to the guild to raid I would like to apologize that I could not sustain the level of recruiting necessary to keep the raid team going, but there are other forces at work in the game that makes recruiting good players to raid progressively nearly impossible, and I no longer have the time or energy to sustain that level of recruitment.
My wife and I will be moving our raid ready toons and eventually high level alts over to a guild on the Baelgun server.
OPTIONS:
Everyone is welcome to stay in the guild as long as you wish. I will always maintain alts on this server, as I have been here since vanilla and have a number of friends on the server.
The GM of the guild that I will be moving to has extended the following invitation to everyone in the guild:
"All current members of Blood of Tyrants are welcome in F A T A L I T Y on the Horde side of the Baelgun server, regardless of their chosen playstyle. The guild has quite a number of social members, and those who focus on PVP. Anyone who wishes to raid will be able to join as well even if we are not specifically recruiting for the class/spec that they currently play. We will do our best to work them into one of our raid teams."

F A T A L I T Y on Baelgun is a great guild. They have almost 500 toons in the guild, and there are quite a number of people who actively play. Even though the server is a west coast server, the guild raids on East coast times. They have two raid teams to fit people's schedules as well as a third casual raid team that does not really follow a specific schedule. There are a number of players who actively PVP, and a number of completely social members. They are currently 10/12 in current progression.
I can personally vouch for this guild, as I have raided with them in the past, and know a few of them personally. The CO-GM's are a husband and wife team that are understanding and accommodating of RL issues, and have built that same type of guild that we were hoping and trying to build here on the Thrall server. Anyone who wishes to join us over there is more than welcome. If you would like to check out the guild before you pay to move your toon's over, I would invite you to roll an alt on the server and check out the community.
Anyone who wishes to join just needs to mention in your application or pst that you are a member of Blood of Tyrants, Angawen's guild. You can contact Keiching, Jazicookei, or Darksyd.
You can find me on that server as Angawen, and hopefully Nahtas or Kwanan.
Again, I regret that it has come to this, but I feel that it is time to move on in the game. Thank you again to everyone for all your support, and if you choose not to follow us to our new home, I wish you the best of luck. If you choose to stay in this guild and enjoy the social setting, I will see you again as I cycle through my alts on occasion. Have a great day.

shadykat Sad to see this post. It was inevitable at the rate we were going. I am undecided if I will remain in the guild or not. ...
